About Us
Hyperhound Coffee was started by a high school teacher working in an impoverished area of Houston, Texas. Over the years, she helped countless dogs found roaming the streets or coming to the school looking for food. She carried food, water, and disposable bowls in her trunk so she would always be prepared. Most of the dogs wouldn't let her approach them, but she would watch them eating as she drove away. The plight of these feral dogs tugged at her heartstrings, and she pondered how she could do more. One morning, while driving into work, the idea dawned on her as she sipped her morning coffee.
Hyperhound supports the funding of no-kill animal shelters so homeless dogs can be nourished, healed, spayed or neutered and ultimately find a home. That’s why HyperHound Coffee donates 15% of all our proceeds to rescue shelters.
All of our coffee is organic and free trade.
